So. despite the fact that posts on other peoples journal's I read don't necessarily have anything to say, I still find my self not posting if something didn't happen that day. Or, there's an issue I'm dealing with and I don't want to post until it gets resolved. But that makes no sense. I see other people bitch about their computer acting up and then a week later tell you it's fixed.

Me? I've been dealing with my Lacie drive for a week. Silver won't recognize her and there's no icon on Silver's desktop for Lacie. (Yes I name my computer, get over it) And I have delayed posting about it because I kept saying to myself... wait until you've fixed it, then you can post.

*shakes head* it makes no sense. granted, this current post makes no sense either, so whatever.

I'm going to go deal with the Lacie people now. It's the first chance I've had all week. *crosses fingers* I hope we can get it working again. that music I recorded for my Dad? is on Lacie. I stupidly threw out the original files on Monday. I wasn't thinking and so now he may not get them. *Arrrgh* I really wanted them for him too. Well, here's to the Goddess. May everything work out ok.

so, I spoke with the Lacie people and they couldn't get it working again. they said it was probably a bridge failure. They recommended me to a data recovery service. ...
32:43
said service wants 500-2500 $$ to get my data back for me.
