19 May 2006 01:28I would really like to be in Houston, TX right now. Later today my uncle is finally marrying the woman I have considered my aunt for years now. Unfortunately I have school full-time and a job. the job I could get out of, the school I can't. *pouts* I really wish sometimes that I was rich. then I could have hopped on a plane after my class this morning, gone to the wedding and then come home. The bonus of seeing Mum and other relations a great side benefit.
So, I've spent the last few days recording the Harvard broadcast of the Mozart Orgy. Eleven days of solid Mozart in chronological order, minus the wee hours of the morning, of which I have 48 hrs recorded. I'm thinking it will be something for my Dad to listen to the next time he comes to visit me. He's the one who steered me towards it and I know he'd enjoy it.
I have yet to buy tickets for Wicked. I know I need to get them asap, but I know money is going to be tight and I'm reluctant to get them if it means I'll be begging cash from my Dad for rent.
I want to make my own icons, wonder if there are any icon making programs out there *makes note to check*
Anyway, I should get to bed. I'm going into work early today, the kiddies get out at 1230 and I'm working with the seniors in starting a knitting club at 930 am.
